If it is mentioned in the text, it is a typo.</p>\n\n\n<p>Friends!!!</p>\n\n<p>Grandfather Frog, who is the founder of the Secret Society of Necromancers, Death Through Hane group on the OGS, is hosting an official November (2023) \"The Great October Socialist Revolution\" Tournament.</p>\n\n<p>The October Revolution, or October Coup (in Soviet historiography the name Great October Socialist Revolution was adopted) - an armed coup in Petrograd on October 25-26 (November 7-8, New Style), 1917 under the leadership of the Bolshevik Party, as a result of which the Provisional Government was overthrown. It is one of the largest events of the 20th century, which made a significant imprint on the course of Russian and world history.</p>\n\n<figure class = \"pic\">\n <img src=\"https://pavelgvozdev.ru/ogs_tournament/great_october/great_october_2.jpg\" width=500>\n <figcaption>The storming of the Winter Palace on the night of October 25-26, 1917.</figcaption>\n</figure>\n\n<p>The main result of the October Revolution was the establishment of a new political order. The main task that faced the Bolsheviks, led by Lenin, was to form the state apparatus of the Soviet state with reliance on the Soviets.</p>\n\n<p>Extensive social reforms were introduced, such as:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>The establishment of an eight-hour work day,</li>\n<li>free education, health care and insurance,</li>\n<li>granting women equal rights with men,</li>\n<li>separation of church and state.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>As a result of the October Revolution, the social structure changed - estates and the privileges associated with them were abolished.</p>\n\n<p>As a result of the victory of the socialist revolution in Russia, the world split into two systems - capitalist and socialist. After 1917, the struggle between these two systems determined the entire course of world history.</p>\n\n<p>The socialist system existed for about 70 years and was destroyed as a result of counter-revolution.
