"description": "Shoutout to (OGS user) for winning the capturing rules tournament Someone breaking the rules then tell me right away\nThis is kinda the craziest tournament that has ever happened in OGS until now 🤭🤭 Winner gets a shoutout as usual. So you have to force a opponent a move for every capture you have done to your opponent this is like every time you capture you get a move except you force your opponent to one which is kinda like the kings rules one. So you have to protect your stones a lot and making risky plays isn’t really that good as if you die and the opponent captures it you might have to fill in your own territory or even eyes to make you die.Also in case you didn’t pay attention to stats of tournament this is in Japanese rules so every time you fill in your territory it’s gone forever 😨 .Loser doesn’t have punishments as usual as this is just for fun .",

Anyone wishing to claim successive titles must qualify and compete normally.\n\n### Overview:\nThis tournament uses the [Site 13x13 Ladder](https://online-go.com/ladder/314) for it's preliminaries.\n\nTo have a chance of competing in this tournament you need to be in the top 30 of the Site 13x13 Ladder on the 9th Jan 2020. To guarantee entry, you need to be in the top 8 (see below).\n\nClock settings and rules are the same as for the ladder.\n\n### Qualifying / Invitational Process:\nOn the 9th of January 2020, I will take a snapshot of the ladder and send invitations to the top 8 players. Each day thereafter, I will send additional invitations equal to the number of vacancies+1 until the tournament is full, working down the snapshot-list no further than position 30. \nIf you receive an invitation, decide quickly. The top eight will get ~24hrs to decide but thereafter the additional invitees could miss out as those above make late acceptances. \n\nPlease note that if you close your invitation without accepting or declining, then a bug prevents me from reissuing it and you will need to pm me if you wish to join.
