[20:10] buzzsaw[4k]: That was a mistake
[20:11] buzzsaw[4k]: I did not mean to make that move
[20:11] buzzsaw[4k]: I forgot what game I was on.
[20:13] buzzsaw[4k]: I'd been waiting for you to make your next move and it came up in the middle of a stream of games.

[0:26] StevenField[5k]: Sorry, saw it too late
[0:43] buzzsaw[4k]: If that's the way you want to be, fine.

[15:20] StevenField[5k]: Well, I also made a huge mistake. Thought I would lose because of it, before I had a huge lead. So yeah, even though I would have accepted the take back if I saw it, I didn’t request one after my mistake..
[15:21] StevenField[5k]: Probably better like this, both made a mistake

[15:46] buzzsaw[4k]: I've never asked for un undo before. I've been in the position where I have made a bad move and realized it and never asked for an undo, similar to the position you were in when you made your mistake. In those cases I was fully aware of the game I was playing and just made a bad move. I am new to correspondence play. I learned something about correspondence play in this game. I think if it had been the only game that came up at the time I would have recognized it for what it was and played as I had been planning. I knew that there was no ko threat left big enough to answer. Unfortunately, I opened the game last in a series of games and looked at the situation locally. Lesson learned.
[15:48] buzzsaw[4k]: I actually made two mistakes. The first was to jump instead of simply extending. That necessitated the ko. The second mistake was not realizing what game I was playing.
[15:48] buzzsaw[4k]: I have never set up a ko before, so I was emotionally invested in it. It was my first and I really thought it through. Sorry for asking for the undo.
[15:49] buzzsaw[4k]: It is interesting though how close the game has turned out even with the lost ko.
[15:52] buzzsaw[4k]: I'll probably be blogging about this game. I have a go blog.
[15:54] buzzsaw[4k]: The main thing I learned about from this game is that ko is particularly dangerous in correspondence. You would never forget you were playing ko in a live game. In a correspondence game it is easy to forget.
[16:27] StevenField[5k]: Yeah, I know the feeling. I always play like 10 games simultaneously. Next to a couple more mistakes my main one was not blocking there I think. Looking forward to an AI review later, quite curious. I actually only played one ko before, quite a while ago. It’s interesting I think. No worries about the undo, if I had seen it before playing I would have accepted.

[16:43] buzzsaw[4k]: That is nice to know. And for future reference if that happens again I believe you can ask for an undo for your own move. Then you could allow the undo after that. It is good to know that you would actually have allowed it if seen in time.
[16:44] buzzsaw[4k]: Although OGS may function differently regarding undo requests.
[16:49] buzzsaw[4k]: Yes, the block at L18 was necessary and I expected to have simply gotten a good end game sequence rather than creating the problem that resulted. Failing to extend on my part was really bad. Because I am a supporter you get an AI review here based on my membership.

[1:44] StevenField[4k]: Was a nice game. Would love a rematch though, what do reckon a game with take backs or without?
