[13:55] Christian Smith[8k]: those 3-3 opening stones are hard to deal with...

[13:56] thedeepself.org[8k]: but I was tired of losing my corners so I experimented with it.

[13:57] Christian Smith[7k]: dual 3-3 for about 100 games or so on Fox

[13:57] Christian Smith[7k]: I found that you don't have to baby them nearly as much as 4-4s if fights spill over into the corner

[13:58] Christian Smith[7k]: so I ended up starting fights way more to leverage that

[13:58] Christian Smith[7k]: ultimately thought it really made me appreciate the 4-4s in a new way... they really are just so flexible

[13:59] Christian Smith[7k]: and just because you "lose" your corner doesn't mean you're not getting equal or greater value on the outside, you just have to trust in the influence
