Move 2
Sebbu[7k]: You too!
Move 173
Sebbu[8k]: Yeah, a bit
Move 175
beeglee[10k]: OK if I just resign now?
Sebbu[8k]: It is up to you. ^^ If you don't to keep playing, or if you want to try something crazy, I'm fine with either.
Move 176
beeglee[10k]: thanks sebbu!
beeglee[10k]: if i can think of something interesting...
beeglee[10k]: nah, no chinks in the armor. nice game, well done!
Sebbu[8k]: Thank you for the game
beeglee[10k]: since you destroyed me so completely, I'm wondering if you have any hints...
beeglee[10k]: What I could have done better
Sebbu[8k]: Done something about the left side
Sebbu[8k]: Before I started building walls facing the bottom and top side
Sebbu[8k]: that made all of the left side practically impossible to invade
Sebbu[8k]: Replay the game and see at which points I started growing the left side into the centre, and when/where you could have indaved or reduced
Sebbu[8k]: (I started to grow with move 12, at the risk of giving up the top and right side)
Sebbu[8k]: I think you should have attacked the 3-3 too. You left it alone for the whole game and I was able to get a decent corner with it
beeglee[10k]: makes sense
beeglee[10k]: i'll replay and see
Sebbu[8k]: Mind you, I don't recommend that you play it. I was only experimenting with it because of Alphago haha. But I don't like the josekis around it :/
Sebbu[8k]: You also played a little too influenced-oriented
beeglee[10k]: What do you mean?
Sebbu[8k]: Example: Move 13 you played at the star point on the right side. I invaded bottom right corner right away
Sebbu[8k]: PLaying on the fourth lines usually means you want influence, playing on the third line usually means territory
Sebbu[8k]: Four line stones are very easy to invade and live underneath
beeglee[10k]: funny,
Sebbu[8k]: Same with the bottom left corner. You played too high and I was able to take away that territory from you
beeglee[10k]: i was playing someone else and they said i was too much on the 3rd line
beeglee[10k]: i need to find the balance i guess
Sebbu[8k]: Yup, balance is good
Sebbu[8k]: You want territory but you also don't want to let your opponent get too strong in the centre
Sebbu[8k]: Move 56 and 68 is where I grew the left side too big. You couldn't invade anymore but you could reduce
beeglee[10k]: yes... i can get away with it against weaker players, but not stronger ones
Sebbu[8k]: Also, move 81 is one example of making small moves
Sebbu[8k]: You caught two stones, threathening to catch more. But top right corner is still a little bigger than that
beeglee[10k]: yes
beeglee[10k]: i remember thinking that at the time
beeglee[10k]: but still went ahead, given the aji it felt more secure
Sebbu[8k]: You still lost about 8 stones in the area though, so it didn't protect that particular aji
beeglee[10k]: yeah, that was pretty boneheaded...
Sebbu[8k]: Anyway that's mostly it.
beeglee[10k]: thanks much, i appreciate the thoughts!
Sebbu[8k]: Feel free to challenge me again at any time :)
Sebbu[8k]: No worries!
beeglee[10k]: will do
beeglee[10k]: i'll try and give you more of a run next time
Sebbu[8k]: I'm sure you will :)
