Farraway[3k]: I know that I'm supposed to respond by growing myself so that I'm just as big, but I think i've already sacrificed that option with my slow play.

Farraway[3k]: It actually reminds me of the 4-4 kakapo against the 3-3 point, so I'll play it like that, just that I get an extra line of territory.

Gobian[4k]: It's really hard to find a good move in the opening in our games since we think so much about each move :)
Gobian[4k]: This is to put preasure on your single stone and make territory at the bottom. You will probably extend upwards so then I can attack from the top and close the corner at the same time.
Farraway[3k]: I think I can afford to - I don't want this group on the right to be to small.
Gobian[4k]: I was thinking about E17 so I was expecting something like that sooner or later. I think I need to defend. It's been a shoulder hit game for me so far :) I have pretty large are but I can't really prevent you from jumping in from the right

Gobian[2k]: I was thinking about L4, but if you block I think you will profit more. I also thought about something around G3, but then I have to run for my own life. Ok let's block you a little and hope that I either can block you at N13 or continue down to reduce your bottom left.

Gobian[2k]: I couldn't really decide if I should block you frm the top or continue down to split you. But since the middle is so big I'm afraid that a split would do more harm to me. You can run to the right and I will be left in white territory.

Gobian[3k]: I don't think so. Often when one invades, but loses the invading group, you get a lot of forcing moves on the outside. That's no theory I've read, It's just a personal observation.
