Overview:

To have a chance of competing in this tournament you need to be in the top 30 of the Site 9x9 Ladder on the 8th Jan 2019. To guarantee entry, you need to be in the top 8 (see below).

Clock settings and Rules are the same as for the ladder.

This tournament effectively uses the Site 9x9 ladder for its preliminaries.

Invitational Process:

On the 8th of January 2019, I will take a snapshot of the ladder and send invitations to the top 8 players. Each day thereafter, I will send additional invitations equal to the number of vacancies until the tournament is full, working down the ladder no further than position 30.

If you receive an invitation, decide quickly. The top eight will get ~24hrs to decide but thereafter the additional invitees could miss out as those above make late acceptances.

If for whatever reason, you need your invitation to be resent, just ask with a pm.
