I’ve been playing Go for about 18 months.

For DDK study I would recommend:

  1. Play serious games and review them afterwards. Use time settings between 20-30 minutes main time with a few periods of 30 second byo yomi. Consider joining the Open Study Room and play in the leagues. You can also ask for reviews on their Discord. Uploading games to GoKibitz can also get very helpful comments.

  2. Study tsumego the correct way. Work on problems at your level and try to read out the solution before clicking or hovering the mouse over the board. Only spend a few minutes on each problem though. You will have to learn the techniques for solving tsumego. The Tsumego Hero site encourages this, but I would also recommend the “Cho Chikun - Elementary Life and Death” problems on veterator.com or the time trials on the goproblems.com site.

  3. Watch Dsaun’s shape lecture. Although the video is 3 hours long, the actual lecture only lasts about 45 minutes and is followed by example games. You can watch each section at a different time.

  4. Watch Dwyrin’s Baiscs series.

  5. If you have never memorised a pro game I suggest you try. Pick a game from GoKifu and load it into the OGS SGF library. Memorise the first 60-80 moves 10 moves at a time. You will see when you make a mistake in the game tree.

I need to take more time when making my moves. Apparently, I have been playing at almost blitz speed when there is still plenty of time on the clock.

At DDK level NEVER resign unless you are absolutely sure that you are far behind!
